328.

just watched radio days...again

for the third time in three months

there is something to be said
for what the radio meant to families in those times
when it brought you your stories, your music and your news

without a whole lot of competition

it used to be a one way message

and you weren't everywhere at once
  now everything is national

and knowable

the radio just seemed
"smaller"

this may be one of my favorite parts

and that a tiny seth green plays the little boy that tell the story

"I never forgot that New Year's Eve when Aunt Bea awakened me to watch 1944 come in. I've never forgotten any of those people or any of the voices we would hear on the radio. Though the truth is, with the passing of each New Year's Eve, those voices do seem to grow dimmer and dimmer."
