"freedivers"

i'm scared of diving
i don't know why

i've decided i will conquer this fear this summer

‘When taking these photographs I feel the danger, but it is juxtaposed with a sense of calm and serenity as the divers gracefully descend into the depths. At a certain depth they reach a point of negative buoyancy, and no longer need to propel themselves as they literally fall through the aquatic space. Of course, this means that upon ascension they are fighting that tendency to fall. Descending or ascending, Freedivers are at home in the deep.’

I am petrified! don't think I could ever do it. Sooo afraid of sharks, and can barely step in ocean because i think sting rays will seek me out. (you have to shuffle your feet.) While i shuffle I am screeching like when I picked up that cacaroach. ew. hahahahah

Maybe we should try it together this summer. I say maybe because I don't think I could overcome a lifelong fear in a couple months. :)
