10.

Monday is the beginning of my Second Quarter at the Circus. I am so ready and excited. My break has been awesome so far but I'm ready to get to work again. I am very happy with all the things I managed to accomplish during my time off and I have really enjoyed having time to spend with Bryan.

Right now I am pumped about LUNCH. Bryan and I have been taking the time to make really good lunches and actually sitting down at the table and eating them together. So far it has been awesome and I hope to keep it up during school. It will be a much needed break during the day for both of us.

I am addicted to one sandwich we crafted last week. I am not a big fan of condiments but I discovered that using triple cream brie keeps the bread from being dry. I also added fresh arugula (from my yard!), a yellow tomato and honey roasted turkey (for bryan). I toast my sourdough bread a little also to help melt the brie.

My friend Jessica gave Bryan and I season passes to the zoo back in July. She works with the primates. We live on Glenwood Avenue in Grant Park which is a 5 minute walk to the zoo. So yesterday I wanted some "dippin dots" and Bryan wanted a Nathan's hotdog so we decided to pop into the zoo for an hour. Much to my dismay they are only selling these treats on the weekends now but at least Bryan and I got to see some of the animals. We are going to start walking down to the zoo once a week.

Tonight I am looking forward to ladies night at Grant Central. We will eat and discuss random things and maybe laugh a little. It will be nice to get out and hang out with some cool women. I have been spending entirely too much time at home. Perhaps that is because with the windows open in the bedroom it so nice and perfect.

Tu aimerai la nuit de les femmes! Elle serai meilleure que des jours frais!
